ADDITIONAL PRAYER
Pray, That God will open doors of ministry, blessing partnerships and friendships.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message. ... Colossians 4:2–3a (NIV) Open doors can’t be taken for granted.
That those who serve will be led by the Holy Spirit and recognize open‑door opportunities.
That God will lead his people past barriers to hearts ready to receive his Word.
Pray for Boldness
Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. ... — Ephesians 6:19 (NIV)
Missionaries are regular people who fear pain and rejection as much as anyone else. When faced with opposition, they need God’s strength to help them stand firm.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will provide missionaries with words that communicate effectively in other cultures and languages.
That they will have boldness to overcome the fear of embarrassment or failure. Against evil forces that would seek to hinder the spread of the gospel.
Pray that God’s Word Will SpreadFinally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. — 2 Thessalonians 3:1 (NLT)
Obstacles must be removed to allow God’s Word to spread rapidly and freely, and missionaries need the strength to continue on in the face of opposition or difficulties. Just as Aaron and Hur supported Moses’ arms in the battle against the Amalekites (Exodus 17:12), you can strengthen the arms of missionaries by supporting them through your prayers.
Pray, for strength and stamina as missionaries encounter antagonistic spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:10–18).
That people will resist Satan’s plans to obstruct the spread of the gospel (James 4:7).
That God’s Word will indeed spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes.
Pray for Protection
Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. — 2 Thessalonians 3:2 (NLT) Pray, that God will keep missionaries safe. That God will change the hearts of those who are resistant to his Word.
Pray for Effective Ministry
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." — John 15:5 (NLT)
It’s important to rely on God for all aspects of ministry — especially during times of great difficulty, so that efforts will produce fruit and ultimately a harvest will be gathered.
Pray, that God will provide strength and perseverance when their ministry seems to be fruitless.
That seeds will be planted and that missionaries would be able to see the fruits of their labor.
That an abundant harvest will be produced as more people learn about the love of Christ.
Pray for Travel
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” — Mark 16:15 (NLT)
For protection and provision during travel. For God’s grace and favor when challenges or obstacles appear on any journey.
Pray for Refreshment
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30 (NLT)
Pray, that God will provide opportunities for missionaries in isolated areas to spend time with other believers.
That God will provide times of peace and relaxation to refresh his workers.
For restoration — physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually — that can only be found in Jesus.

MIRACLE SUNDAY: 1/28/24, Daniel fast 21 days of activation. INTRO: You were given faith building scriptural confessions last week. This week you will activate your faith. Your fasting has pierced the darkness our enemy. Angels have been activated and waiting on you to fight on your behalf as well as others in this room. Today all of us are going to speak, declare and proclaim the WOG over others and maybe even yourself. Today is a the day end time miracles.
PROP: “Today I am activated to work healing miracles.”
I. THE METHODS:
A. The methods used for healing:
1. Lay hands on: Mk 16:17-18 "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
2. Use His name: Jn 14:12-14 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
3. Cast out: Mk 6:7 And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits; 13 And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them. 4. Say to the obstacle: Mk 11:22-23 And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God. "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.
5. Pray: Jm 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
6. Use the gifts: 1 Co 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
II. THE WILL OF GOD FOR ME?
A. Sickness is part of Satan’s works.
1. Jesus always treated sin, diseases, and devils the same.
2. They were all healed in His sight.
3. He rebuked them all. 4. Lk 5:13 And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.
B. He was manifested to destroy them all... 1. He does not want the "works of the devil" to continue in our physical bodies.
a. He wants no cancer, a plague, a curse, the works of the devil, to exist in His own members. b. 1 Co 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?
2. Lk 9:56 for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.
A. Sickness destroys; therefore, it is not from God...
B. Jesus came to save us SOZO, to deliver, to save and preserve us, to heal us, to give us life, to make us whole),
C. John prayed the will of God. 3 Jn 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
1. No one is excluded. Mt 4:23 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.
D. The healer is in us at all times. Rm 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
1. Is it the will of God for Him to heal me and at this time?
2. YES! How? Doctor? Jesus never called in a doctor to help.
a. Doctors and medicine can't heal the body, only the body can heal the body.
b. Ex 15:26 And He said, "If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God,
and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer."
c. Mt 8:16-17 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES
III. THE TOOLS OF HEALING:
A. Laying of hands; anointing w/oil, prayer of faith, prayer cloths, SPEAKING TO THE OBSTACLE, 1. Declaring, binding/loosing, forbidding (fig trees) the purpose of something, faith of others.
IV. MY PARTICIPATION
A. Increasing my faith and keeping a storehouse of faith to call on.
1. 2 Co 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight—
2. Jn 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
3. Ps 103:2-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;
4. Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
B. FIGHT W/YOUR FAITH!
1. Don’t stop, don’t quit: Regardless of how small you might think it is.
2. “Don’t give up, Don’t stop w/one try, keeping trying, don’t reason your miracle away, or
depend on the advice of others.
a. Jesus never prayed for someone's healing. He prayed a lot, then He would speak and demand a response. DON’T QUIT!
b. Lk 10:19 "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.
B. Take action:
1. Go: Lk 17:12-14 As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him; and they raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" When He saw them, He said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they were going, they were cleansed.
2. Get up: Act 3:7-8 And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
3. Stand to your feet: Act 9:33-34 There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years, for he was paralyzed. Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your bed." Immediately he got up.
a. Faith to be embarrassed, faith stopped Him in His tracks: Mt 20:30-33 And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more,

They *said to Him, "Lord, we want our eyes to be opened."
b. Act 14:9-10 This man was listening to Paul as he spoke, who, when he had fixed his gaze on him and had seen that he had faith to be made well, said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on your feet." And he leaped up and began to walk.
4. Press in to Him: Mt 14:36 and they implored Him that they might just touch the fringe of His cloak; and as many as touched it were cured.
Stretch your faith!
5. If you will stretch out He will pull you thru: Mt 12:13 Then He *said to the man, "Stretch out your hand!" He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other.

Make these confessions daily in preparation for miracle Sunday!
2 Co 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight—
Lk 10:19 "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.
Mk 16:17-18 "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
Jn 14:12-14 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
Mk 6:7 & 13 And He *summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits v13 And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.
Act 5:16 Also the people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing people who were sick or afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.
Mk 11:22-24 And Jesus *answered saying to them, "Have faith in God. 23 "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. 24 "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
Jn 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Jm 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
2 Ti 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
Mk 9:23 And Jesus said to him, " 'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes."
Mt 21:21-22 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. 22 "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Heart disease is a leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women. But you can do a lot to protect your heart and stay healthy.
Heart-healthy living involves understanding your risk,(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/heart-healthy-living/risks) making healthy choices, and taking steps to reduce your chances of getting heart disease, including coronary heart disease,(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/coronary-heart-disease) the most common type. By taking preventive measures, you can lower your risk of developing heart disease that could lead to a heart attack. You can also improve your overall health and well-being.
The first step toward heart health is understanding your risk of heart disease.(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/coronary-heart-disease) Your risk depends on many factors, some of which are changeable and others that are not. Risk factors are conditions or habits that make a person more likely to develop a disease. These risk factors may be different for each person.
Risk factors for heart disease
· Have high blood pressure(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/high-blood-pressure)
· Have high blood cholesterol(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/blood-cholesterol)
· Have overweight or obesity(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/overweight-and-obesity)
· Have prediabetes or diabetes(https://www.niddk.nih.gov/health-information/diabetes/overview/what-is-diabetes)
· Smoke
· Do not get regular physical activity
· Have a family history of early heart disease, for example if your father or brother was diagnosed before age 55, or your mother or sister was diagnosed before age 65
· Have a history of preeclampsia, which is a sudden rise in blood pressure and too much protein in the urine during pregnancy
· Have unhealthy eating behaviors
· Are age 55 or older for women or age 45 or older for men
Each risk factor increases your chance of developing heart disease. The more risks you have, the higher your overall risk.
Some risk factors cannot be changed. These include your age, sex, and a family history of early heart disease. Many others can be modified. For example, being more physically active and eating healthy are important steps for your heart health. You can make the changes gradually, one at a time. But making them is very important.
Maintaining a healthy heart is crucial for a long and healthy life. Here are some tips to help you achieve that:
1. Quit smoking: Smoking is one of the top controllable risk factors for heart disease. If you smoke or use other tobacco products, it’s time to quit 1.(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips)
2. Maintain a healthy weight: Excess belly fat has been linked to higher blood pressure and unhealthy blood lipid levels. Eating fewer calories and exercising more can make a big difference 1.(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips)
3. Eat a healthy diet: A diet rich in soluble fiber can help lower your level of low-density lipoprotein, or “bad cholesterol.” Other rich sources of soluble fiber include oats, barley, apples, pears, and avocados 1(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips).(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips)
4. Exercise regularly: Like other forms of aerobic exercise, dancing raises your heart rate and gets your lungs pumping. It also burns up to 200 calories or more per hour 1.(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips) And it’s fun!
5. Get enough sleep: Sleep deprivation can lead to high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes, which are all risk factors for heart disease 2(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips).(https://www.heart.org/en/healthy-living/healthy-lifestyle)
6. Manage stress: Engaging in activities such as knitting, sewing, and crocheting can help relieve stress and do your ticker some good 1(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips).(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips) Also doing puzzles or listening to quiet music. Worship and prayer.
7. Know your numbers: Keeping your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides in check is important for good heart health. Learn the optimal levels for your sex and age group. Take steps to reach and maintain those levels. And remember to schedule regular check-ups with your doctor 1.(https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-heart-tips)
Remember that small steps toward living a healthy life can help reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke and other serious diseases 23(https://www.heart.org/en/healthy-living/healthy-lifestyle).(https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/heart-healthy-living)

After Roe: On Friday, June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark piece of legislation that made access to an abortion a federal right in the United States.
However, there is more for us to do to see that the abortion laws are dismantled at our state level.
In North Carolina After Roe, abortion will still be allowed in many situations. Continue to fight for life, fight to see that abortion laws are changed at our state level.

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) Most people with high blood pressure have no symptoms, even if blood pressure readings reach dangerously high levels. You can have high blood pressure for years without any symptoms. A few people with high blood pressure may have: · Headaches · Shortness of breath · Nosebleeds Risk factors High blood pressure has many risk factors, including: · Age. The risk of high blood pressure increases with age. Until about age 64, high blood pressure is more common in men. Women are more likely to develop high blood pressure after age 65. · Race. High blood pressure is particularly common among Black people. It develops at an earlier age in Black people than it does in white people. · Family history. You're more likely to develop high blood pressure if you have a parent or sibling with the condition. · Obesity or being overweight. Excess weight causes changes in the blood vessels, the kidneys and other parts of the body. These changes often increase blood pressure. Being overweight or having obesity also raises the risk of heart disease and its risk factors, such as high cholesterol. · Lack of exercise. Not exercising can cause weight gain. Increased weight raises the risk of high blood pressure. People who are inactive also tend to have higher heart rates. · Tobacco use or vaping. Smoking, chewing tobacco or vaping immediately raises blood pressure for a short while. Tobacco smoking injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. If you smoke, ask your care provider for strategies to help you quit. · Too much salt. A lot of salt — also called sodium — in the body can cause the body to retain fluid. This increases blood pressure. Be sure to check the labels on canned goods. Many have high sodium levels. · Low potassium levels. Potassium helps balance the amount of salt in the body's cells. A proper balance of potassium is important for good heart health. Low potassium levels may be due to a lack of potassium in the diet or certain health conditions, including dehydration. Drink plenty of water. · Drinking too much alcohol. Alcohol use has been linked with increased blood pressure, particularly in men. · Stress. High levels of stress can lead to a temporary increase in blood pressure. Stress-related habits such as eating more, using tobacco or drinking alcohol can lead to further increases in blood pressure. · Certain chronic conditions. Kidney disease, diabetes and sleep apnea are some of the conditions that can lead to high blood pressure. · Pregnancy. Sometimes pregnancy causes high blood pressure. Complications The excessive pressure on the artery walls caused by high blood pressure can damage blood vessels and body organs. The higher the blood pressure and the longer it goes uncontrolled, the greater the damage. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to complications including: · Heart attack or stroke. Hardening and thickening of the arteries due to high blood pressure or other factors can lead to a heart attack, stroke or other complications. · Aneurysm. Increased blood pressure can cause a blood vessel to weaken and bulge, forming an aneurysm. If an aneurysm ruptures, it can be life-threatening. · Heart failure. When you have high blood pressure, the heart has to work harder to pump blood. The strain causes the walls of the heart's pumping chamber to thicken. This condition is called left ventricular hypertrophy. Eventually, the heart can't pump enough blood to meet the body's needs, causing heart failure. · Kidney problems. High blood pressure can cause the blood vessels in the kidneys to become narrow or weak. This can lead to kidney damage. · Eye problems. Increased blood pressure can cause thickened, narrowed or torn blood vessels in the eyes. This can result in vision loss. · Metabolic syndrome. This syndrome is a group of disorders of the body's metabolism. It involves the irregular breakdown of sugar, also called glucose. The syndrome includes increased waist size, high triglycerides, decreased high-density lipoprotein (HDL or "good") cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood sugar levels. These conditions make you more likely to develop diabetes, heart disease and stroke. Blood tests can detect these. · Changes with memory or understanding. Uncontrolled high blood pressure may affect the ability to think, remember and learn. · Dementia. Narrowed or blocked arteries can limit blood flow to the brain. This can cause a certain type of dementia called vascular dementia. A stroke that interrupts blood flow to the brain also can cause vascular dementia. Treatment Changing your lifestyle can help control and manage high blood pressure. Your health care provider may recommend that you make lifestyle changes including: · Eating a heart-healthy diet with less salt (sodium) · Getting regular physical activity · Maintaining a healthy weight or losing weight · Omitting alcohol · Not smoking · Getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep daily Sometimes lifestyle changes aren't enough to treat high blood pressure. If they don't help, your provider may recommend medicine to lower your blood pressure. Taking your blood pressure at home Your health care provider may ask you to regularly check your blood pressure at home. Home monitoring is a good way to keep track of your blood pressure. It helps your care providers know if your medicine is working or if your condition is getting worse. Home blood pressure monitors are available at local stores and pharmacies. · Ad Choices

Mat 28:18-20 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." DECLARE: I take the authority Jesus has given me to go into the harvest in my neighborhood, workplace, school, city and region. Every place I go I am a Harvest Hunter and disciple maker. Mat 10:7-8 "And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. DECLARE: The Kingdom is at hand and in me, I can heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons. I have received freely from Jesus, therefore, I give Him freely and without restraint to those around me. According to Revelation 17:14 I am called, I am chosen and I am faithful. PRAY: Father, open my eyes and heart for the Harvest that I see the peoples need for You. Use me in the gifts of the Holy Spirit with gifts of knowledge, wisdom, healings and miracles. I take Your heart for souls, You tell us we are wise if we win souls. Jesus, You came to seek and save the lost. You are still seeking and saving them. You will use me to bring souls into the Kingdom. Your gifts and calling on my life are without repentance. Seeking and saving the lost is a mantle You have placed on me. I ask you Holy Spirit to open the eyes of the not yet believing so that they will be turned from darkness to Your Light, and from the authority of Satan to God, so that they take forgiveness for their sins. Open a door of faith to the not yet believing in my workplace, school, city and region. I speak to the demonic forces that have held people in deception and bondage; I command you to let them go free. I say to the North, South, East and West give them up now in the Name of Jesus. Pray: Father, according to Psalms 2:8, I ask you for nations as our inheritance and the ends of the earth as our possession. DECLARE: I take Your heart for the Harvest and take hold of Your power and authority that You have placed in me to bring souls to You. Saturate me in the Holy Spirit, that I will love others the way You love them. I will move and operate in the compassion of Jesus to see people accept Your great gift of Salvation. I AM A HARVEST HUNTER. Use me for Your Glory in Jesus’ Name. Thank You for entrusting me to do this.

Psalms 91 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 NO EVIL SHALL BEFALL YOU, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 FOR HE SHALL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER YOU, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

When new people come into a service they need to develop new friends. People aren’t looking necessarily for a friendly church, even though this helps, but ultimately friends. When you see a new face coming into the sanctuary we are asking you go and speak to the person, but not just speak but engage them in conversation. Remember your goal is to develop a new friendship. It can be done in many ways. Here are a few suggestions: 1. Get the person to talk about themselves, their history, experiences in the church setting, likes and dislikes. 2. When comfortable ask if you can sit with them. 3. Ask if you can contact them the next week via call/text, FB ect. 4. Ask them when they warm up to you, if there is anything that you can pray with them. 3. Provide that information to someone in 7 minute ministry. 4. With the person’s permission, hang around them and introduce them to others while they are on site. 5. Simply just exude the love of Jesus to this new face!

Dear Baptismal Candidate: Praise the Lord of Salvation, Jesus Christ! Congratulations for making the best decision of your life in accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and your Lord. We want to encourage you to take the next step in your new life in Christ and, according to His instruction in Acts 2:38, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins…” Just as Christ died and was resurrected from the dead, through water baptism, we die to sin and are raised to life in Christ Jesus (Rom. 6:4-10). Because you die to sin, it is no longer you that lives, but Christ the Savior lives in you (Gal. 2:20). Therefore, you are an ambassador for Jesus; a minister of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:19-20); so because Jesus set the example for us in Mt. 3:13-17, we should also follow his example and do as he did (Eph. 5:1). Baptism is a pledge of a good conscience toward God. It symbolizes the washing away of the old sinful man; and symbolically the new man is made alive with Jesus. As Jesus set the example by His baptism, we follow in His steps by our baptism. You may be rededicating your life to the Lord and may have been baptized in the past. You can be re-baptized as a sign of returning to the Lord and recommitment to Him. As God called you into the Body of Christ, we encourage you to stay in the body. In John 15:1-8, Jesus tells us to remain in Him, so we don't wither away and die. Outside of the Body there is death, but in the Body there is life, joy and peace. We welcome you into the Body of Christ. May your new life in Christ Jesus be richly blessed (Rom.10:12). Baptism is scheduled on: Sunday, June 25, 2023 You are encouraged to invite family and friends to share in this special day. Note: Please be in touch with the person you want to baptize you to insure they will be present. Wear something comfortable. (Example: jeans, dark T-shirt, flip flops) You will need to bring a change of clothes and a towel (also a hairdryer if desired). Remember this is a full immersion baptism, so your hair will get wet. Note: Ladies: No white T-shirts, No shorts Men: No tank tops Important: We will meet in the second room on the left of the main hall promptly at 9:30 AM on the day of your baptism. Please make every effort to be on time and ask the person who will baptize you to meet with you there also. A minister or elder will meet and talk with you briefly. Please call the church office (828) 324-5372 or Nancy Pressly (828) 612-7116 to confirm your participation in this baptism or if you will be unable to be present. If you have questions, you may call the above numbers. This is a very special time in the life of a believer and we look forward to sharing it with you. In His Service, Apostle Steve M Deitz, Pastor
